Heeyoung is a digital and campaign strategist with an award-winning background in online communications, digital production, digital advertisement, and mail campaigns.
Heeyoung also is passionate about coaching lacrosse - helping to found Faceoff Factory and most recently coached at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2016-2019, Heeyoung managed public affairs campaigns for corporate clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams, to local grassroots organizations. Including managing online persuasion and organizing programs for Nashville SC’s successful expansion team campaign from Major League Soccer and successful campaign for a Stadium at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Through Calvert Street Group, Heeyoung has been recognized by the the American Association of Political Consultants & the Grassroots Professional Network with 6 Pollies and 7 Goldies.
In 2019, Heeyoung was the Deputy Digital Director for Andy Beshear’s gubernatorial race, where he managed digital operations and production -resulting in a historic Democratic victory.
In 2020, Heeyoung was the Senior Producer for Sara Gideon’s campaign for U.S. Senate where he managed and produced videos and stills content for social and TV; all while leading the transition to virtual town halls at the height of COVID-19. Heeyoung also developed and launched an in-house persuasion digital ad program.
In 2021, Heeyoung was the Digital Director for now Attorney General Andrea Campbell’s Boston Mayoral campaign, where he oversaw and coordinated organic digital content, paid persuasion, online fundraising, and online organizing.
In 2022, Heeyoung was the Digital Director for Governor Tony Ever’s re-election campaign where he built and managed the campaign’s digital department, fundraising and online persuasion. Later Heeyoung was a Senior Digital Advisor for Governor Janet Mills.
